Hello! We're the McGuire Family
Angie and Kevin retired early from their careers, Angie as a Creative Director an apparel retailer and Kevin as a Project Manager in commercial construction. In 2020, they sold their house and most of their possessions and, along with their daughter Lauren and Weimaraner Max, traveled full time in an RV for 8 months before settling down in Eagle River, WI. They are now realizing their dream of helping families continue the tradition of the “Up North” family vacation by creating a unique, upscale vacation rental destination, Dollar Lake Retreat.
In 2024, they wanted to add to their collection of experiences by adding a Finnish wood-fired mobile sauna — the perfect accompliment to the Northwoods vacation.
